Mark, I’ve been reading your articles for a while, and I always find them entertaining and informative. Keep up the good work. For example: Of course, consumers don’t have the luxury of paying only “core” expenses, and there are many skeptics who believe the government’s CPI number approximates real-world costs of living about as well as Bizarro World approximates life on Earth. Great stuff for two reasons. 1. I wish more of the financial press would start calling BS on the CPI (as you cite from the skeptics) 2. Bizarro World reference – awesome cheers, dru
