I have met a few famous, smart, or rich people in the computer/internet industry…but none of them can say that they have really changed the world. I was doing some research on my recent health problems, and I stumbled on this.
It turns out I heard Dr. Debakey on the Monday Forum program on KQED a few months ago. The guy was just amazing to listen to. He has that voice and candor that immediately conveys a character of humility, intelligence, selflessness, and kindness. The world could use some more people like him.
