Over the holidays, I made a few resolutions. One of them was to get a savings account for emergency funds. I took a look around and I opened an online account with ING Direct. They have a deal where you get $25 for opening an account with a minimum $250 initial deposit. The person who refers you gets $10.
Anyways, the account delivers a 3.8% return right now, and my BofA savings gives me a nice 0.5% return (a negative savings rate).
